The fire was about 300 feet by 50 feet.
It was a bit of a distraction but no damage from a brush fire shortly after 7:00pm along the Everett riverfront east of Interstate 5. Fire crews got the call at 7:15pm and three engine companies were able to quickly contain the fire. The hardest part was reaching the fire which was located on the site of the former Everett landfill. No word on the cause.
