While Sorticulture and Artists’ Garage Sale are arguably huge events in Everett this weekend, one of the loudest will be on Silver Lake in South Everett. The Seattle Outboard Association says more than 100 boats are already signed up for their annual race. The first heat gets underway at 11:45am with racing until 6:00pm. There is no admission charge and families are welcome. The mini hydros have been racing on Silver Lake for nearly 60 years.
